This past Sunday, several students began meeting in the loft at 9:30am to discuss what it means to be salt in this world.
13 “You are the salt of the earth. But what good is salt if it has lost its flavor? Can you make it salty again? It will be thrown out and trampled underfoot as worthless.
There is an old saying, “You can lead a horse to water but you can’t make him drink.” While this may be true, we can create a thirst and that thirst will lead to a drink.
When Jesus spoke the words of Matthew 5:13, He was telling people, US, that we are to create a thirst in others for the Living Water, Jesus. We believe that every person alive on this planet deserves to receive a proper representation of the gospel and we are it. We are the vessels, the tools, that God chooses to use to do that.
If you (or your grandkids/kids) are youth age, junior and senior high, and are in need of training in sharing the gospel, we invite you to come and join the discussion!
Here is the first video we watched and discussed…we encourage you to share it with someone who needs to know Jesus and then talk to them about it!
