The birth of Christ is the most important announcement in the world and what a privilege it is to share such news with the world. Can you imagine how the angels must have felt to share the news first with Mary and Joseph that Mary would give birth to the Son of God and together she and Joseph would raise Him, the Messiah? What an opportunity the angels had to declare for the very first time:
“Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.”
Yet we are called to that very same privilege every day to share the “Good News” with everyone we meet.
Hark, the herald angels sing, glory to the new-born king!
Today, will you Hearken to His words and Hail him as YOUR King and Savior? And if you have accepted him as Lord will you, like the angels, proclaim the Good News of Jesus our Savior!
