Psalm 27:4
New International Version (NIV)
4 One thing I ask from the Lord,
this only do I seek:
that I may dwell in the house of the Lord
all the days of my life,
to gaze on the beauty of the Lord
and to seek him in his temple.
If we want an encounter with God like we’ve never had before, we have to go after Him like we never have before.
A dear friend of mine texted me this morning with a great thought and I believe she is 100% correct.
“Revival fire is here & just needs more kindling. Is it wrong to pray, “Lord, make them jealous for Your Holy Spirit”?”
My answer, “No!! That’s It!! That’s it!!”
He is beyond jealous for us. It’s time we get on our faces and really hunger after Him. To become jealous for His power and Spirit daily, moment by moment moving in our lives.
Proverbs 15:8-9

8 The Lord detests the sacrifice of the wicked,
but the prayer of the upright pleases him.
9 The Lord detests the way of the wicked,
but he loves those who pursue righteousness.
No more insincerity. No more hypocrisy. No more “God I want more as long as I don’t have to put out the effort.”
God is not fooled by actions. He sees the heart.
Let’s pursue, relentlessly, righteousness. Let’s get jealous.
