September, September!

Mark the Calendar!

September is a BUSY month! Don’t miss out on the wonderful things going on at GCFirst!

Invest in our kids!

Be sure to come out and spread the word about the kids church remodel fundraiser! If you have any questions, please see Linda Smallie and Judy Andrews.

To help us reach our goal, we will also be receiving a special offering on Sunday morning, September 7, for our remodel project. Please prayerfully consider what you can give.

Supporting Missions

Students of P365 Student Ministries will be walking in the annual Walk-A-Thon to raise money for Speed the Light. To sponsor a student or leader with a donation per mile walked (8 miles) or to give a flat donation in support, please see Pastor Stacey.

Ride 4 Revival

Be a part of building excitement and momentum in the children’s ministries of Granite City and have a blast doing so! Whether you ride your bike or just hang out with kids at the park, you are welcome! For more info or if you have questions, please see Mark and Missy Shriver.

Annual Fall Parking Lot Outreach

Reaching our Neighborhood: We love Granite City and we love Jesus. What better way for us to show this than by hosting our neighborhood for a party on our parking lot! If you want to be a part of this great outreach event but missed the meeting on Sunday, please see Pastor Byron so he knows how to plan.

National Back To Church Sunday began as a movement to invite everyone in America back to church by empowering and motivating church members to invite their family and friends to come with them to a special service hosted by the local church.

The movement was spurred on by a couple of statistics:

“82% of the unchurched are at least somewhat likely to attend church if invited”
–Dr. Thom Rainer, The Unchurched Next Door

Yet only 2% of Christians EVER invite someone to church!

We are sharing videos and more on our social media outlets and our website. Use these tools to invite your family and friends!

If you would like to help canvas our neighborhood with invitations, please see Cindy Keen.
